Node Monitor is a monitoring tool built specifically for Internet Computer (ICP) node providers. Node Monitor gathers data from two key sources: the public dashboard, which provides instant alerts about uptime, and the Node Rewards canister, which updates daily with the node’s actual performance and contribution to the network, giving insight into the rewards you receive. By combining these two sources, Node Monitor gives you both a live operational view and a daily performance report so you're never flying blind. You can catch problems early, and monitor your actual rewards as they come in, all in one place.
How does Node Monitor prevent me from getting penalized?
The alerts and dashbaords in Node Monitor show you how close your node is to penalties. If patterns suggest that your node is at risk, Node Monitor helps you take proactive action. With the built-in proposal editor, you can move the node out of the subnet, avoiding further penalties and preserving your rewards.

Behind the scenes is a motivated, involved team well versed in node operations, who track the evolving ecosystem, update the product continuously, and provide a reliable, user-friendly experience. All of this comes at a low monthly cost, designed to be just a fraction of what a single penalty could cost you if you were caught empty handed. Think of it as insurance!
